Larsen & Tubro Limited

Our office is located at 147 Shahid Ganesh Dutta Road in the Ramkrishna Palley area of Birati. It’s on the northern side of Calcutta, and the neighborhood has a very settled, suburban feel to it. Working here at Larsen & Tubro Limited is quite different from being in the middle of the city's main business district. The office is on a street that gets a fair amount of local foot traffic, and we are surrounded by houses and small shops. It’s a simple setup inside—no glass partitions or high-tech security gates. We just have our desks, our project files, and the usual office supplies scattered around. The building itself is a bit older, which gives it some character, though it can get quite warm during the monsoon months. We handle a lot of the local administrative work and site coordination from this Birati base. It’s a place where you’ll see people in work boots and reflective vests coming in and out at all hours. We don’t bother with much ceremony here. If someone needs to talk to the manager, they just walk up to the desk and ask. There’s a local market nearby where we get our lunch, and the whole area has a friendly, community atmosphere. It’s a quiet but productive place to work, and it serves us well for keeping track of our responsibilities in this part of West Bengal without any corporate distractions.
