You can find us at 17 N.N Ghose Lane, right here in Kolkata 40. It’s a typical Kolkata street, narrow in some spots and always feeling lived-in and busy. Larsen And Toubro is the name we go by. The office itself is one of those older buildings that has been around for a long while. It has high ceilings and those big windows that let in some light, but it’s mostly just a place for work. We don’t go in for anything fancy or polished. There are stacks of files and a few computers that have seen better days. The sound of the city is always there in the background, with the horns and the people walking by. It gets very humid during the monsoon, and we just deal with it like everyone else around here. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just come in, do what we are supposed to do, and that’s it. Some people have worked here for years and they know exactly where every single file is kept. The address is easy to remember since it’s right on the lane. It’s a plain, honest workspace. We don’t try to be something we aren't. If you walked in, you’d just see people at their desks looking at papers or talking on the phone. It’s just how we operate. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s our second home, really, even with the old fans and the creaky doors.
