Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

Our place is in Kolkata, specifically the Purbaputiary area. We are at 63 Post Office Road, in Chatterjee Park, Natun Para. It’s a classic Kolkata neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of houses close together. We are at C/O Bimal Roy’s place. It’s not your typical high-rise office for Larsen & Toubro Ltd. It’s much more local than that. The 700093 area is full of life. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long. Our office is simple. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and computers. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has some character, maybe a few cracks here and there. We don’t mind. It feels like home. We’ve got a small staff. We aren't big on formal meetings. We just talk over tea and figure out what needs to happen. We don't have a big sign out front, so you really have to look for the address on Post Office Road. Most people who work here live in the nearby lanes. We aren't trying to sound impressive. We just do the work that’s assigned to this branch. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively way to spend the day. That’s just how things are in this part of Kolkata. We get things done in our own way and don't worry too much about the corporate polish.
