Larsen & Toubro Ltd

We are tucked away on the 5th floor of Duckback House over on 41 Shakespeare Sarini. If you know Kolkata, you know this is a pretty central area, though the traffic on the street can be a real headache some days. Larsen & Toubro Ltd has been using this space for quite some time now. It’s an older building with a bit of character, which some of us actually prefer over those new glass towers they keep building. Our office isn't overly decorated or anything like that; it’s mostly just desks, stacks of files, and people talking on phones. Being in the 700017 area means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is handy for meetings. You take the lift up to the fifth floor and we are right there. The rooms are a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work. It’s got that old Kolkata feel where things are a bit chaotic but somehow everything gets finished on time. We usually go out for snacks or chai nearby when we need a quick break from the paperwork. It’s a busy environment and we don’t have much time for polish. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized as best we can. It’s a decent place to spend the workday, right in the heart of the city.
