Larsen & Toubro Ltd

Our office for Larsen & Toubro Ltd is over in Nimta, which is a northern part of Kolkata. Specifically, we are at 56/ Rabindra Nagar, in a building owned by Baul Sarkar. It’s a very local neighborhood, not like the big commercial hubs you see in the city center. Working here feels very different because you are surrounded by homes and small shops. Our office is just a regular room with some desks and chairs. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area. People just walk in and talk to us. We handle a lot of the local coordination from this spot. It gets very busy, especially in the mornings when we are planning the day. Kolkata can be a very loud and crowded city, but our little corner in Nimta is a bit more relaxed. We have a routine where we start early to beat the heat. We don't use any of those big corporate words to describe what we do. We just say we are working on the projects and keeping the paperwork straight. It’s a very practical environment. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when the weather is nice. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in a place that feels like part of the community. It’s not complicated, and we don't try to make it seem that way.
