You can find us down Thakurdas Chakrabarty Lane in Kolkata. It’s one of those narrow streets where the history of the city really feels alive. Our address is 2/1A, and it’s a typical building for this part of town. The stairs are a bit steep and the walls have that thick, old-school feel to them. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s not the easiest place to park a car, so most of us just walk or take the local transport. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the desks and filing cabinets, but we make it work. We aren't interested in looking like a corporate headquarters. We’re just here to handle the business that comes our way. The neighborhood is 700006, so it's right in the heart of things. There’s always the sound of trams or people shouting in the distance. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep going. Our team is small but we’ve been together for a long time. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just look at what needs to be done each morning and we do it. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but that’s just how Kolkata is. We’re used to the quirks of the building and the street. It’s a practical place for a group of people who just want to get their jobs finished properly.
