Our office is situated at Db 39 in Shastribagan, which is right in the Baguiati area of Kolkata. Being near the airport road means it’s always busy around here, and there’s a constant flow of people and traffic. We’ve been working out of this spot for the ECCD for quite a while now. The building is just a regular one in a residential-commercial mixed zone, so it feels very grounded. We spend our days managing various construction-related tasks and keeping track of the paperwork that comes with it. It’s not a very big office, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have our desks, our files, and a small area for tea. We don’t really do the corporate talk or the marketing stuff. Most of our work is behind the scenes, making sure the sites have what they need. Sometimes the office gets a bit noisy because of the street outside, but we’re used to it by now. The team is a mix of people who have been with the company for years and some newer faces. We all just focus on our own tasks and try to help each other out when things get busy. Baguiati is a lively place to be, and being based in Shastribagan keeps us right in the middle of it all. We just aim to get the work done without making a big deal about it.
