Our office is over in Baranagar, specifically on Kalidas Lahiri Lane. If you’ve ever walked down these lanes in Kolkata, you know they can be a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here. We’ve been at 15/A/3 for some time now. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, which is good for focusing on what we need to do. The building is just a regular one, nothing that stands out too much from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Usually, the fan is humming and there’s the sound of someone typing away. Being in Baranagar means we get to avoid some of the central city chaos, though the commute can still be a bit of a stretch for some of the staff. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the technical work that needs finishing. It’s not always glamorous, and sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be something we aren’t. We are just a team from Lahmeyer International India Pvt Ltd working out of a lane in North Kolkata. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us mid-discussion over a biscuit and some tea. That’s how things move along here. We just try to keep things simple and get the job done right. There are no fancy mission statements on the walls. Just a calendar and some project notes.
