This specific branch is located at 12B Garpar Road in the city of Kolkata. If you know this part of the area, you know it has that old West Bengal feel to it that people talk about. Our office here is part of the Lahmeyer International India Pvt Ltd group. It is a bit different from some of the other offices because of the unique location. Garpar Road can be quite busy during the day, and finding the right building for the first time might take you a minute or two. Inside the office, it is mostly just us sitting at our desks. We do a lot of the same technical work you would expect from a firm like ours. The walls are probably due for a fresh coat of paint soon, but the space works just fine for what we need to do. We have a relatively small team here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know exactly how each other works without having to say much. We get people coming in for meetings occasionally, but mostly it is just the regular staff members. We deal with various projects across the whole region from this spot. It is not a corporate skyscraper or anything fancy like that. It is just a regular office on a regular street in Kolkata. We take our lunch breaks and talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
