We are tucked away at 61 Taltala Lane. If you know the area, you know the lanes can be a bit narrow and crowded, but we have been here long enough that we have made it work. Our shop is where we do all the engineering and repair work. It is usually a bit dark inside, lit by the sparks from welding or a few hanging bulbs. We have different machines for cutting and shaping metal, and there is always a smell of grease and iron in the air. It is not a clean environment, but it is a productive one. We spend our days fixing parts or making new ones for various local businesses and people who drop by with something broken. Most of us have grease under our fingernails and wear old clothes because that is the nature of the job. We do not have a reception desk or a salesperson. If you come in, you will likely find us hunched over a lathe or working with a wrench. We talk to our customers directly and explain what needs to be done to get their equipment running again. It is a small team and we just focus on the task at hand. Taltala is a busy place, and we are just one part of the many small workshops that keep things moving. We do not promise miracles, just honest work with our hands and the tools we have used for years.
