Kc Das Fashion Pvt Ltd is based over in Shyam Bazar and Garia Hat. It gets pretty crowded around here most days but that is just how the neighborhood is. We have been working with clothes for a while now. Most mornings start with checking the stock and seeing what came in the day before. The traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes especially during the festive months. People know us for being around this part of town for a good bit of time. It isn't a fancy setup or anything like that. We just have our space where we get things done and talk to the folks who drop by. Sometimes we are busy with orders and other times it is just quiet enough to have a tea and look at the street. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing because that is not really our style at all. It is more about getting through the daily list and making sure the racks aren't empty. You might see us unloading stuff from the vans or just standing near the door. The weather gets hot in the afternoons but we stay inside and keep at it. We try to keep things simple here. There is always something to fold or move around. Working in Shyam Bazar means you meet all kinds of people every single day. It keeps the work interesting enough to keep coming back. We just do our thing and stay out of the way. It is a long day usually but we are used to the pace by now.
