We are located over at 90/95 Rajarhat Road in the Baguhati area. If you know Kolkata-59, you know it stays pretty lively around here. Karisma Garments Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s a busy street and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We spend most of our hours dealing with fabrics and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. It's not a glamorous setup, just a practical workspace where we can focus on the garments. The building is older, but it serves us well. Sometimes the noise from Rajarhat Road gets inside, but we don't mind it much. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We have a few people who have been with us since the start. We don't go in for big titles or complicated rules. Everyone just knows what they need to do. We keep the machines running and the piles of clothes moving. It can get a bit dusty with all the thread and cloth around, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We like being in Baguhati because it’s easy for everyone to get to. We’re not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do at Karisma Garments is solid and that we keep our heads down and stay busy. That's the way we like it. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and then get back to the sewing.
