Sharma Traders

Sharma Traders is based out of the Barasat area, specifically near the Ladies Tailor in Ching Chong Nagarching Chong. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but people in Jamtala and Kalikapur know where we are. We’ve been set up here in West Kolkata for some time now. Dealing with different kinds of trade items keeps us on our toes every day. It’s a local operation, nothing too fancy or corporate. We mostly spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure the shop has what people need. The area here is always moving, with a lot of people walking by on their way to other shops or home. It can get a bit crowded, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes and try to keep everything organized. Sometimes things get a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We like being part of the Kalikapur community. It feels good to see the same faces every week. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People mostly find out about us by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. It’s a simple way to run things, but it has worked for us so far.
