Mds Kitchen Gallery

Mds Kitchen Gallery is situated right in Agarpara, near the post office. It’s a local spot where we keep some examples of kitchen cabinets and counters so people can actually touch the materials before they decide on anything. The shop isn't very large, and it gets quite dusty because we are often cutting wood or assembly pieces right in the back. You can hear the saws running sometimes if you come by in the afternoon. We have a couple of stools where we sit with people to draw out simple sketches of their kitchen layouts on scrap paper. We don't use any high-tech software for that, just pencils and rulers usually. It’s more personal that way. The floor is often covered in wood shavings, and we try to sweep up at the end of the day, but it never stays clean for long. We’ve been working in Agarpara for a while, and most of our customers are just people from the nearby blocks who want to fix up their homes a bit. We don't give any big sales pitches. We just tell people what we can do and how much the materials cost. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of handle or hinge and have to wait for the next delivery to come in. It’s a small, honest operation. We just like making things that people actually use every day in their own houses. We keep our hours flexible so we can talk to people when they are off work.
