We operate out of Gariahat, which is one of those places that never seems to sleep no matter what time it is. Our setup is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. Most people know the Shyam Bazar area too, and we’re close enough to that. It’s a busy part of town to do business in, but we like it that way. We deal with all sorts of fashion items. It’s mostly just a few of us managing the orders and making sure things get sent out to the right people at the right time. The office is small and filled with piles of catalogs and fabric samples that we haven't sorted through in years. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls or carpets on the floor. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it’s completely silent for hours. We like the balance of the busy and quiet times. We’ve been around for a while, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as new shops open and old ones close. But we’ve stayed right here. We don't bother with fancy websites or big advertisements. People find us by word of mouth mostly, which is fine by us. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the fabric is good quality. It’s a simple life. We take our lunches together at a small table in the back. It’s just a normal day for everyone here.
