Our workshop is at 76/1 IC Road. It’s not a very large space, but we make it work for what we do. We mostly focus on making different kinds of garments. If you walk inside, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of fabric and the hum of the sewing machines. We have a few long tables where we do the cutting and the marking. It’s a bit crowded with all the rolls of cloth and the finished pieces waiting to be picked up. We’ve been on IC Road for quite a while now, so we know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a bit of a community. We don't have any fancy displays or a big window to show off our work. People usually come in because they’ve heard about us from a friend or they live in the neighborhood. We aren't a big factory; it’s just a handful of us doing the work. Sometimes we get a bit behind when there’s a lot of work at once, but we always try to catch up. We drink tea several times a day to keep ourselves going. The floor is usually covered in scraps of fabric, which we clean up at the end of the day. It’s a practical place. We don't use any complicated software to run the business. We just keep our notes in a diary and make sure we don't lose anyone's measurements. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local area.
