We handle the import and export side of things, which means there is a never-ending stream of paperwork to deal with. It can get a bit cluttered during the peak seasons, but we usually find what we need eventually. We have a small pantry area where we make coffee and heat up our lunch. The windows don't open very far, but they let in enough light so we don't have to keep the overheads on all the time. Working here feels like being in the middle of everything because the location is so central. We often see the same people walking by every morning. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together for years, so we have a good rhythm. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy signs; we just focus on making sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a steady, reliable kind of life here at the office. We usually lock up and head home around six.
