Jay Mataji Engineering

We started Jay Mataji Engineering a while back on Brahmapur Road. It’s a busy spot here in Bansdroni at 440/3, and the shop is usually full of metal pieces and tools lying around. Most days you will find us busy with some machine parts or fixing things that people bring in. It is not a big fancy factory, just a place where we get the work done. The noise of the machines is constant from morning until we close up. We handle all sorts of engineering jobs, some small and some quite big, depending on what the customer needs that week. Usually, someone is always at the bench filing something down or welding. It gets quite hot in the summers but we are used to it by now. People from around the neighborhood know the address well. We don’t have any big speeches to make about what we do. We just open the shutters, check the orders, and start working on the lathes. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a short break, then it is back to the metalwork. If you walk down Brahmapur Road, you can probably hear us before you see the sign. It’s just us, a few machines, and a lot of grease and hard work every single day. We try to keep things organized but in a workshop like this, there is always something needing attention or repair. It is just the way things go in this line of work.
