Jain Ladies Garments

You will find us at 18/E Stand Road in Kolkata. It is right near the river area, so we often get a bit of a breeze coming through, which is nice during the hotter months. Our shop, Jain Ladies Garments, is dedicated to women's clothing, and we have been in this spot for quite a while. The shop is usually filled with different fabrics and colors, depending on what we have managed to get in that week. It’s not a huge place, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a few customers in at the same time. We don't mind, though; it just makes the place feel more alive. We spend our mornings checking the stock and making sure the displays look okay. There is always a lot of folding to do because people like to feel the material before they decide on anything. We get a mix of regulars from the neighborhood and people who are just passing through Stand Road on their way to work. It’s a busy part of town, but we have our own little rhythm inside the shop. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. We just want to keep the shop running well and provide some decent clothes for the ladies who come to visit us. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do. We try our best to keep things simple for everyone.
