We are located at 21A, Tarachand Dutt St, which is tucked away in a part of Kolkata that’s always buzzing with trade. It’s a busy area and the lanes around here are narrow, so it takes a bit of effort to find us if you’re not used to the neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through piles of financial statements and tax forms. The office is functional, with enough chairs for everyone and rows of cabinets for all the client files we have to keep. We don’t really go in for fancy decor because we’re usually too busy with the work at hand. Most days are spent checking figures and making sure everything matches up. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing, which can get tiring when the weather is humid. We take our tea seriously here, usually having a few cups throughout the day to keep us going. The streets outside are loud with vendors and carts, but that’s just part of being in this section of West Bengal. It’s a practical setup for a chartered firm. We handle the paperwork that people don't want to deal with themselves. Sometimes we stay late when deadlines are approaching, and the street finally gets quiet. It’s a simple life of numbers and deadlines, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now at this address.
