You can find J. K. D. Impex Pvt. Ltd. at 1church Lane. It is a narrow little street but it has a lot of character. We have been operating out of this address for a while and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the area. There is a church nearby, obviously, and sometimes you can hear the bells or the choir if the windows are open. Our office is a mix of old school filing cabinets and some newer technology that we are still getting the hang of. We deal with impex stuff, which means a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. It is not always exciting but it is what we do. The lighting in the back room is a bit dim, so we usually keep the lamps on even during the day. We have a big table in the middle where we spread out all the shipping documents. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with all the paper, but we clear it off eventually. We do not have a fancy lobby or a guard at the door. You just come in and find us working. We are real people doing real work, and we don't try to pretend to be a giant corporation. We just want to get the day's tasks finished so we can go home to our families and relax after a long day.
