It’s a busy neighborhood and our building is right in the middle of all that noise. We spend our days coordinating between people here and people far away across the ocean. Trading isn't always easy; there’s a lot of waiting for shipments and making sure the paperwork is exactly right so things don't get stuck at the port for weeks. The office is usually a mess of samples and shipping documents scattered on the tables. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the fan spinning above. We aren't some big multinational corporation with a thousand employees. We’re a smaller team that knows how to get things moved from point A to point B without losing our minds. We’ve had to deal with all sorts of issues over the years—delays, weather, and everything else that comes with international trade. But we just keep at it because that's the job we chose. We don’t have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just try to make sure people get what they ordered without too much trouble on their end. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of phone calls back and forth. That’s basically how we spend our time here on Tiljala Road, just getting through the day's tasks.
