It is a fairly small office compared to the big IT parks but it is a good spot for us to focus on our data and tech tasks. The neighborhood around Middle Road is a mix of old houses and some newer buildings, so it feels more like a community than a business district. We are on the second floor and the stairs are a bit narrow, but once you get inside, it is just a bunch of computers and wires everywhere. We usually start our mornings with a lot of emails and checking the systems to make sure nothing crashed overnight. There is no big cafeteria here, so we usually just bring our own lunches or grab something from the vendors on the street nearby. It is a simple setup where we just get down to business without much fuss. We spend a lot of time on our screens and sometimes stay late when there is a big project finishing up. It’s just a regular group of people working hard in a quiet corner of the city.
