Our office is on the ground floor of Indraprastha Apartment, Block A, right at Rab 11/b in Raghunathpur along VIP Road. It’s a convenient spot because being on the ground floor means we don’t have to wait for elevators when we have deliveries coming in. Hyfen Ultramarine Exim Pvt. Ltd. is basically a small team of us working out of this apartment space. It still feels a bit like a home, which is fine by us. We deal with a lot of export and import details, so there are always ledgers and forms spread out over the dining table we turned into a desk. VIP Road is always noisy with cars and buses rushing by, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. We spend most of our time on the phone or on our laptops. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside in the hallway, which adds to the local feel of the place. We just focus on getting our work done and making sure our clients get what they need. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for us. We’ve got a small fridge for cold water and a teapot that’s always on. That’s pretty much the whole operation here at Indraprastha.
