Home Paints Solution is located at 11/1/A Nafar Chandra Das Road. We are on the ground floor of the Akash Apartment building in Behala. It’s a residential area, so we are surrounded by families and people going about their daily lives. Being in an apartment building means we are right there where people live, which is convenient for them when they decide to fix up their rooms. The shop is relatively small but we manage to fit a lot of different paint samples and supplies inside. Behala can get quite crowded and the traffic on Nafar Chandra Das Road is often slow, but that gives people a chance to look at our shop window as they pass. We have been here for a while and most of the people in the building know us by name. It’s a bit of a family atmosphere really. We don’t have any fancy sales tactics or anything. People just come in, tell us what they are thinking of doing with their walls, and we show them what we have in stock. The floor has some paint drips on it that we can never quite get off, but it adds character to the place. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. It is a quiet, steady kind of business. We like being part of this little corner of the city and seeing the houses around us change colors over the years. We close up around eight in the evening.
