Global Decor & Furnishings

I'm at the shop on Grand Trunk Road right now, looking at some of the new chairs that came in. It’s pretty loud out there today with all the trucks passing through Maheshtala. Global Decor & Furnishings has been running from this spot for a bit now. Dust from the road often gets inside, so cleaning the glass tables and checking the curtains takes up a lot of time. That is just how life is here. Moving things around to make space for new stock happens almost every day. Since we are right on the G.T. Road, many people stop by after seeing the sign while driving past. It is a very busy stretch of road. We don't have a fancy team; it is mostly just us handling the heavy lifting and talking to visitors. When it gets really hot in the afternoon, the fans usually aren't enough. Keeping the doors open and hoping for a breeze is our best bet. The address is easy to find if you are familiar with the area. Tucked away in the back is everything from small decor pieces to larger furnishings. Keeping it all organized is tough, especially with unexpected shipments. We just try to get through the day and keep the place looking decent for whoever walks in. It isn't perfect, but it is where we work every day. The tea man usually comes by around four and we take a short break then.
