Holy Trust Pharmacy

Our pharmacy is called Holy Trust Pharmacy and we are based in Ramakrishna Pally. We are on the ground floor of a building in Gouranganagar, which is in the New Town area of Kolkata, 700156. We are pretty close to Rohra Height, so that is usually how people find us if they are new to the area. New Town is growing fast, but our little corner in Gouranganagar still feels like a proper neighborhood. We mostly deal with the people who live in the apartments and houses right around us. The pharmacy is just a regular shop with shelves full of medicine bottles and boxes. We aren't a big supermarket-style chemist; it’s just a small local business. Sometimes the rain floods the road a little bit outside, making it tricky for people to get to the door, but we stay open anyway. We spend our days checking prescriptions and talking to the regulars who come in for their monthly supplies. The walls are a bit plain and we have a simple counter where we handle the cash and the medicine. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done the old way. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the traffic near Rohra Height gets backed up. We are just here to provide what the local doctors prescribe and help out our neighbors in Ramakrishna Pally whenever they need something for their health. It is a humble job but it keeps us busy.
