Being right in Bikramgarh Bazaar means there is always noise outside. Tollygunge is a busy part of Kolkata and our spot at number 47 is right in the middle of all that action. It's not a quiet office, that's for sure. You hear the vendors and the cars all day long. Hj has been here for a bit now. We don't have a big corporate logo or anything like that. It's just a small space where we get our work done. Most of the time, we’re just handling whatever comes through the door. The bazaar is great because you can get anything you need within a two-minute walk. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near the shop, so we mostly just walk or take the rickshaw. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, and it has its quirks. We have a small table where we keep the records and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It’s a very local way of doing things. People know us in the neighborhood. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. If someone needs us, they usually just walk in or call the landline. It’s hot in the summer, but the ceiling fan works okay. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the daily chores. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but it's not a priority right now. We just focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished before the sun goes down.
