Hind Trading Company Pvt. Ltd is located at 16, Bonfield Lane. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. The building is old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit creaky. Our office is fairly simple. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of paper. Trading is a lot of talk and a lot of checking things twice. There are always people coming in with documents or asking about prices. We don't have a big fancy setup here. We prefer to just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. It’s more personal that way. The lane is always full of people carrying things or carts being pushed along. It’s a very active place. Sometimes we just sit by the door and watch the world go by for a few minutes while we have our tea. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just handle the trades, keep our books in order, and make sure things get to where they need to go. It’s what we’ve always done. The neighborhood hasn’t changed much since we started, and that’s fine by us. It feels like home after all these years of coming in every single day.
