Up on the 1st floor at No. 295-2B A.P.C. Road, that’s where you’ll find Hi Fashion Exports Imports. The name sounds a bit grand, but we’re really just a busy office and warehouse space. We handle a lot of moving parts since we deal with both exports and imports. There’s always paperwork on the desks and shipping labels being printed out. Being on A.P.C. Road means there’s constant noise from the street below, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s a good spot for logistics, which is why we’ve stayed here. Our rooms are packed with samples and crates. It’s a bit messy at times, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a sales team that calls you up all the time. Most of our work is behind the scenes, making sure goods move from one place to another without too many headaches. We drink a lot of chai to keep us going through the long afternoons. It’s a lot of coordination with different people, and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, but we figure it out. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we work well as a team. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just facilitate the flow of fashion goods and keep our heads down. It’s a practical business for practical people who just want things to arrive on time.
