Our place, Harsh Bags Pvt. Ltd., is over on P-15, New C.I.T. Road. If you know the area, it's not too hard to find us near the main crossing. We spend most of our time dealing with materials, stitching, and getting orders out the door before the sun goes down. It's a hands-on kind of business every single day. The floors are usually covered in scraps of fabric or loose thread, but that’s just part of making bags. We aren't a giant factory with robots or anything; it’s mostly just people sitting at machines and making sure the seams are straight. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it and keep moving. We’ve been at this for a bit now. It started small and just kind of grew because people liked what we made. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website team. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to count inventory in the back. The street outside gets pretty crowded during the day, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache with the trucks. But we make it work. We’re just a bunch of regular people making bags for regular use. It isn't glamorous work, but it pays the bills and we take a bit of pride in seeing someone walking down the street carrying something we made right here in our shop.
