New Alipore is a bit different from the rest of Kolkata. Our place is at 750A, Block-P. It’s connected to the name of Shri Govind Prasad Kedia. We have been around machines for a long time. It’s not a quiet job. The air in Kolkata is always thick, and in the monsoon, the streets around Block-P can get a bit messy. Inside the office, it’s mostly just paper and the sound of people talking. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just Hari Machines Limited. We deal with the equipment and the people who need it. The building has been there for years. We know the neighbors and the local shops. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get here quickly. Inside, it feels steady. There are old desks and stacks of files that have been there forever. We don't change things much unless we have to. It's just a regular workplace where everyone knows their role and gets on with it. The ceiling fans have been rattling for years, but they still work, so we leave them be. We have our small routine with morning tea and afternoon breaks. It’s not a corporate tower; it’s just our spot in the city. We see the seasons change from the window, and we just keep the machines as the main focus. It’s a simple way to spend the day in Kolkata. Everyone just works hard and goes home to their families when the clock strikes the hour.
