H. R. Fashion

Our shop, H. R. Fashion, is located on the second floor of a building at Shop No. 10/1/C on Kalakar Street. This is right in the heart of Burrabazar, so you can imagine how crowded it gets downstairs. Being on the second floor helps us stay away from some of the chaos on the street, but the noise of the market still reaches us all day. The stairs leading up are a bit narrow and old, and the shop itself is quite small. We have it filled with different fabrics and garments that we are working on. It is a very traditional setup with a few sewing machines and people sitting together. We have been in Burrabazar for many years and we know the streets like the back of our hands. We do not have a big storefront to show off our work, so we mostly depend on people who already know us. The air in the shop can get a bit warm, especially in the afternoon, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We often drink tea from the local vendors who come around the building. It is a busy, tiring way to spend the day, but we are used to the hustle of the market. We just want to do our work quietly and keep the business running in this old part of the city.
