Guria Garments

Guria Garments is located in the Kasba New Market, specifically at Shop No F 27 on the 1st floor. Being inside a market means there is never a dull moment. From the second we arrive in the morning, there is the sound of other shutters opening and people starting their day. Our shop is up on the first floor, so we get a slightly different view of the market than the ground-floor stalls. It’s a bit of a climb for some, but it’s where we’ve set up our home base. The space is filled with racks of clothes, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in. We spend a lot of time just shifting things around to make everything fit. The air in the market can get a bit stuffy, so we always have a small fan running at the desk. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big website, we just rely on the people who come to the market for their shopping. Most of our day is spent talking to customers or checking our inventory by hand. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things, and it keeps us on our toes. We’ve been part of the Kasba New Market community for a while now, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s hard work, but it’s our work and we just keep at it every single day.
