Gupta Engineering Works

Gupta Engineering Works is a small shop located at 16, Khanpur Road in Bansdroni. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a long time now. It’s a bit of an old building, but it fits everything we need. The main room is packed with older machines that still run perfectly well if you know how to handle them. We do various engineering jobs, mostly repairs or making small parts for people around the neighborhood or local contractors. Khanpur Road can be quite crowded, and sometimes it feels like the whole world is passing by our door. Inside, it’s a bit darker and cooler, which is nice in the summer when it gets really hot outside. We don't have any fancy technology here, just the basics that get the job done. My father started this place, and I’ve been running it for years now. We know most of our customers by name, and they know us. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just fix things or make things out of iron and steel. There’s a lot of manual work involved, and my hands are usually stained with grease by noon. It’s just the way it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering firm around. We’re just here on Khanpur Road, keeping the machines turning and helping out whoever walks through the door with a broken part.
