Govinda Impex

Govinda Impex is located at 132 Cotton Street. We are on the second floor in the second block. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, and the light in the stairwell is often flickery or out. The area is always crowded with people carrying bundles of cloth and other goods. Our office is tucked away and isn't very large. We handle impex stuff, mostly just managing the flow of goods and the paperwork that goes with it. The desks are crowded with folders and pens that usually don’t work. We have a small window that looks out over the street, but it stays closed mostly because of the noise and the exhaust from the trucks. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just do our thing. We’ve been at 132 Cotton Street for some time now. The staff is just a few local guys. We know the other businesses in the block. Sometimes we go out and stand on the landing just to get a break from the computers. The work is steady but not very exciting. It’s a lot of verifying numbers and waiting for emails to come through. We don't have a polished website or a big sales team. It's just us in the second block, getting the orders processed and making sure everything is where it needs to be. We just want to get through the stack of invoices before the day ends.
