We are Global Engineering Corporation, and you can find us at Shop No. B/9, 15 on Keshab Chandra Sen Street. We are situated right across from the Jahawar Cinema, which makes it pretty easy for people to find our door. Despite the big name, we are actually just a small shop packed with all kinds of engineering supplies and tools. The space is quite narrow, so we have shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. Sometimes you have to move a box or two just to get to the counter. We’ve been on this street for many years and have seen the cinema crowds change over time. It’s a busy, noisy part of town, but we like being here. We don't have a marketing team or any corporate slogans. We just sell parts to people who need them for their own projects or repairs. Most of our day is spent looking through catalogs or searching the back for a specific bolt that a customer is looking for. We drink tea from the local stall and chat with the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a very traditional way of doing business where you know your neighbors and your customers by face. There aren't any fancy displays or polished floors here. It’s just a regular shop where we try to be helpful and provide what people are looking for in the engineering field without any extra polish or corporate talk.
