Our shop, Get Well Chemist And Druggist Pvt Ltd, is at 63 Rash Behari Avenue. We are right opposite the Lake Mall, which is a very busy spot in this part of the city. There is always a lot of noise from the cars and the people going to the mall. It makes for a lively atmosphere. We have a good amount of space inside, with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Because we are on Rash Behari Avenue, we get a lot of people walking in who are just passing by or coming from the shops nearby. We spend our day pulling medicine strips from the boxes and talking to customers about what they need. The glass counter is usually full of small items like bandages and ointments. We have to be quick because sometimes a line forms, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Behind the counter, it’s a bit of a maze with all the different categories of drugs we keep. We have to keep the fans on high because the front of the shop stays open to the street. It’s a lot of work to keep everything in the right place, but we have a system that works for us. Living and working across from Lake Mall means there is never a quiet moment. We just focus on the task at hand and keep the shelves stocked for whoever walks in next.
