Our business, Gcm, is located at 84/B Chandi Ghosh Road in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of history and old buildings. Our office is one of those places that has been around for a bit. It’s not flashy. We have a solid door, some old wooden windows, and enough space to get our daily chores done. Chandi Ghosh Road can get pretty busy, so there’s always a hum of activity outside. We don’t really go in for those modern office trends like bean bags or open-plan lounges. We just have traditional desks where we sit and do what needs doing. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. When someone calls Gcm, they usually end up talking to one of the few people who actually work here, not some automated system. We don’t have a big corporate manual. We just use common sense and try to be helpful to the people who seek us out. It’s been our home for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. Even with the changes, we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We show up on time, do the work, and make sure the bills are paid. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
