G C Saha & Co

We are located on the ground floor at 45 Malanga Lane, right across from the Hind Cinema in Bowbazar. It’s an old part of the city, and our office feels like it fits right in. G C Saha & Co has been around for a while, and you can tell by the stacks of old ledgers and the way the wooden floors creak when you walk across them. Being near the cinema means there’s always a crowd outside, especially when a new movie is playing, so the lane is never really quiet. Inside, we mostly deal with numbers and files. It’s a traditional setup—big heavy desks, ceiling fans that have been spinning for decades, and the smell of old paper and ink. We don’t have a website or anything flashy like that; people usually find us because they’ve known us for years or someone told them to come by the lane. We spend our mornings with the newspaper and a cup of tea before diving into the accounts. It’s a slow, steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Bowbazar, just a reliable one where you can sit down and talk through your business without any rush. Sometimes we just watch the rain through the window or listen to the noise of the traffic on the main road. It’s just how things are at our little corner on the ground floor. It is simple and it is home.
