Fugen Fashions

Our shop is located at 37 Syed Amir Ali Avenue. It’s a good spot on a busy street, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a bit, focusing on different types of fashion. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers keeping things running. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We spend a lot of our morning tidying up and getting ready for whoever walks in. Some days are really quiet, and we just sit and talk or look at the new stock. Other days, everyone comes in at once and it gets a bit loud. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a local business where we try to get things right. We get different kinds of people coming in, from students to older folks living nearby. Syed Amir Ali Avenue has changed quite a bit since we started, with new shops opening and others closing. We just keep doing what we do. We like being part of this neighborhood. It’s got a certain energy to it that you don't find everywhere else in the city. If you ever walk past number 37, you’ll see us there, probably folding clothes or hanging up something new in the window. We just take it one day at a time and try not to get too stressed about the busy traffic outside.
