Foster Wheeler

We’re located at 12-Sabuz Kanan, over in the Gopalpur House area of Rajarhat Gopalpur in Kolkata. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main part of the city, but it’s where Foster Wheeler has its base here. The building is simple and fits right into the neighborhood. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front. Mostly, we just have our desks and the equipment we need to get through the day's tasks. The road can get a bit muddy during the monsoon season, which makes getting in and out a bit of a chore sometimes. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen Rajarhat change quite a bit with all the new buildings going up nearby. Despite all the development, our corner stays pretty much the same. We handle a lot of technical work here, so the office is often quiet with people concentrating on their screens. We aren't really set up for walk-in customers or anything like that. It’s more about the projects we’re managing. The address, 700136, is what we usually tell people to put in their maps. We like it here because it’s not as chaotic as the center of Kolkata, but we’re still close enough to stay connected. It’s a decent, honest place to work and we just focus on getting our jobs done without making a big deal about it. Our team is small but we know the area well.
