We are located over in Barrackpore, specifically on Shayamashree Palli. It’s a quiet enough lane, Lane A to be exact, just off the main areas in Kolkata. Being part of Fives Stein India Projects, we deal with a lot of project-based work that keeps the whole team busy from morning until late. The office here in Nona Chandan Pukur isn’t anything too flashy, just a solid place to work from. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of the neighborhood. Most days involve a lot of coordinating between different project sites and handling the technical side of things. It’s a lot of desk work mixed with some site visits. Sometimes the internet acts up or the rain makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we manage somehow. We aren’t a huge corporate office with marble floors, just some desks, computers, and a lot of project files stacked around. People around Barrackpore know the area well, so it’s easy for visitors to find us. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on whatever project is currently on the schedule. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things moving, especially with the scale of work we handle. We keep things pretty simple here and just focus on making sure the day-to-day operations run as they should without too much fuss or extra stress. It's a living.
