Ferromet Engineering Works

Ferromet Engineering Works is found at 10, Ramanath Kabiraj Ln, right in the Bowbazar neighborhood. If you’ve never been to this part of town, the lanes are quite narrow and can get really crowded during the day. Our workshop is one of those old-school places where you can hear the sound of hammers and machines from the street. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the place has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit messy. There are stacks of metal and old tools everywhere you look. We don’t have a front office or a receptionist to greet you. You just walk in and find one of us working in the back. It’s a bit dark inside, but we know every corner of the shop. Engineering isn't a clean job, so we’re usually in our old clothes and have grease on our hands. Bowbazar is full of history, and we feel like we’re a small part of that. We don’t bother with flyers or internet ads. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. We just take each day as it comes and try to finish our work on time. It’s a hard job sometimes, especially when it’s humid, but it’s what we know how to do. Ramanath Kabiraj Ln is our home base, and we’re fine with that.
