Our place is right on Middleton Row, tucked away near Sahara Sadan. If you know that area, you know how crowded it gets with all the offices and people walking around at lunch. 2a Shakespeare is where we set up. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the elevator is a bit slow and makes a funny noise sometimes. We deal with fabrics and different clothing materials. Most days it’s just us moving rolls of cloth around and checking what we have in the inventory. It's not the biggest shop on the street, but we have enough room to breathe and do our work. Sometimes it's hard to find parking nearby, so most of us just take the metro or a bus. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day. It’s a quiet enough operation inside, even though the street outside is always noisy with cars and horns. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. We don't really do big sales pitches or try to convince anyone. If someone needs fabric, they come in, look at the rolls, and we help them out. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we usually bring things to the front near the window to see the colors properly. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a website that works well, so people just stop by or call us on the landline. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood for us.
