Experts Devolopment & Services is out in Birati, specifically in the Shaktigarh area of Kolkata-51. It is a bit further out from the main city center, which gives it a different kind of feel. Shaktigarh is a place where people know their neighbors and things move a little slower than they do downtown. Our office is a simple building that fits right into the street. We do not have any big corporate logos or fancy glass fronts. It is just a place where we come to handle our services and development tasks. The office inside is pretty basic with some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have been there forever. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work. In the rainy season, the street outside can get a bit muddy, so we all leave our umbrellas by the door. Birati is a good place to be based because it is not as crowded as other parts of Kolkata. We have a small team and we all know each other pretty well. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get rolls or biryani from the local shop. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We are just a local business doing our thing in Shaktigarh. It is a quiet, honest way to make a living and we have been doing it from this same spot for quite a long time now.
