If you find yourself walking down Tentulberia Road in Garia, you will eventually come across our spot at number 315. We have been operating Engineering Projects (I) Ltd. out of this part of Kolkata for a while. It is a very busy area, which is typical for this side of town. Sandip Roy Chowdhury is the name associated with this specific location. The office itself is pretty tucked away and is not really something you would notice if you were not looking for it specifically. We do not have any big neon signs or anything like that. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and people trying to make sense of project timelines and engineering specs. Kolkata can get incredibly humid in the summer, and the office usually has a few fans going at full blast to keep us all moving. We like being in Garia because it feels more like a neighborhood than some cold business district. There is a small tea stall nearby that we visit quite often when we need a break from the drawings and calculations. The work we do is technical and requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep the atmosphere inside relatively calm, despite the noise from the street outside. It is a no-frills kind of place. We handle a lot of the local coordination from this office. It might look a bit cluttered with all the maps and blueprints lying around, but we know where everything is.
