Emcons Consultants

Emcons Consultants is located at 552, Block N, in the New Alipore area of Kolkata. It’s a pretty established neighborhood and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. The office is in a solid building, nothing too modern, just bricks and mortar that have stood the test of time. We do consulting work, which basically means people come to us when they have questions they can’t answer themselves. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. There is a small tea shop nearby where we get our morning drinks, and that’s usually the highlight of the day before the real work starts. The interior of the office is a bit cluttered with old files and notebooks from years ago. We probably should clean it out, but every time we try, we find something we think we might need later. It’s a very human way of running things, I suppose. We don't have a big corporate logo on the wall or a mission statement framed in the lobby. We just have our desks and our phones. We show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home. It’s a simple life. We don't ask for much more than a productive day and a quiet evening.
