Elcon Engineering Corporation is tucked away at No. 177A B. B. Chatterjee Road in the Kasba area. If you know where Kasba Rathtala is, you are basically there because we are just near that spot. It’s a busy part of the city, and the road can get pretty jammed with traffic during the rush hours, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We aren’t a big, flashy firm with a glass front and a fancy lobby. We are more of a practical place where real engineering work happens every single day. There are always parts and drawings scattered around the workspace because we are usually in the middle of a project. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a job. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules here, we just focus on getting the tasks done right. It’s a local business through and through. We like being part of the Kasba community and seeing the familiar faces on B. B. Chatterjee Road. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy outside our door, but we keep the shop running regardless. We aren't interested in using a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just show up, handle the engineering side of things, and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It is a simple life and a simple business, which is exactly how we like it.
