Eastern Instruments

If you ever find yourself on Lal Bazar Street, you’ll likely pass right by our place at number 9A. Eastern Instruments has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s one of those old buildings where the walls have a lot of character, and maybe a bit of peeling paint if you look too closely. We spend our days dealing with various types of instruments. It’s technical work, and the office is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or a phone ringing in the background. The street outside is always bustling with people and vehicles, which is just how life is in this part of the city. We don't have a flashy showroom. It’s more of a workspace where we manage our inventory and talk to suppliers. Sometimes the light in the back room flickers, but we just haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet. Our desks are covered in catalogs and technical manuals that we refer to constantly. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know the routine inside out. We start early and stay until the work is finished. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized amidst all the paperwork. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes shared around the main table. It’s a straightforward life here at 9A Lal Bazar Street, just keeping the business moving along every single day.
